American ADGA Saanen Dairy Goats

 

About the breed:
Saanens a very larges and calm breeds.
They produce the most milk of the dairy breeds and tend to have a lower butterfat content.

The Saanen temperament is as a rule, calm and mild mannered.

It is not uncommon for does bred for production to give two gallons of milk a day.
