Purebred NUBIAN Goats

About the breed:

Nubians are large and elegant dairy goat. They have a background of Asian, African, and European history, known for high butterfat milk.

They have a longer breeding season than other large breed dairy goats and are considered a dual-purpose breed, they are very known for the high butterfat milk, but they give less milk than other large dairy breeds.

Nubians give 5% or more butterfat content. The only dairy breed to give more is the Nigerian Dwarf. Nubian milk has more flavor than lower fat milks.

They are less hardy, in my experience, than other dairy breeds; however, they remain my favorite breed of all. They love people, are vocal and somewhat independent.

Candy is an easy kidder,
has very tight udder attachment,
great teats and is amazingly easy to milk.

She is also the hardiest doe and such an easy keeper.

She also has produced a very nice buckling this year who sold to Georgia to be
a herd sire for Cannon Farms.

This is Candy's first kid, a nice buckling sold to
Cannon Farms of Georgia.

Candy is due for May 2012 kids
Kids will be $400

(Eve suffered a terrible teat injury, thus the difference in the teats seen above)

FF Udder 3.5 months fresh

Eve is a nice doe, over all, and her is SO easy to milk. When choosing a dairy doe
the you need to be functional and fairly correct over all, she is the doe! She has a teat
injury which makes udder photos hard before the injury has left her scarred.

Eve WILL BE bred for 2012 Spring Kids
to our incoming Saada lined buckling
Kids will be $450 if reserved

DOB: 1/2009
Sired by our buck, Ace
 Out of our doe, Claire

Dutchie might be our nicest doe! She has, like her aunt and sister above,
very easy to milk teats with large orafices. . .this is something
you can't appreciate enough unless you're handmilking.

She has the most beautiful head and ears of all!

We adding Goat's Milk Soap to our line up in 2011
(as in "Creamer's Funny Goat Soap")

If you're looking for Dairy Goats in West Virginia and around, please email me - there
are breeders I highly recommend steering clear of due to
practices in their herds you need to be aware of.
