NUBIAN DOES
About the breed:
Nubians are large and elegant dairy goat. They have a background of Asian, African, and European history, known for high butterfat milk.
They have a longer breeding season than other large breed dairy goats and are considered a dual-purpose breed, they are very known for the high butterfat milk, but they give less milk than other large dairy breeds.
Nubians give 5% or more butterfat content. The only dairy breed to give more is the Nigerian Dwarf. Nubian milk has more flavor than lower fat milks.
They love people, are vocal and somewhat independent.
